AFPSLAI Scholarship Program Produces Another Six Cum Laudes!

Out of 14 new graduates for school year 2008-2009 who were given recognition by AFPSLAI last June 8, 2009, six (6) exudes academic excellence and finished their courses with flying colors. The following are the scholars who graduated as cum laude:

   » Josephine Vinluan, BS Information Technology Education (Philippine Normal University)
   » Mae Bernadette Yap, BS Business Admin Major in Mgmt (Palawan State University)
   » Kathleen Endrano, BS Accountancy (Bicol University)
   » Angelica Perocho, BS Business Admin Major in Mktng Mgmt (Cebu Institute of Technology)
   » Jenny Nova Palomar, Bachelor in Hotel & Restaurant Mgmt (West Visayas State University)

A simple gathering was held at the Social Hall of AFPSLAI Head Office Building. As a tradition, graduates were asked to come to the Head Office to attend the event, together with their respective branch managers. Each scholar was awarded a plaque of recognition by AFPSLAI President and CEO RAdm George T Uy AFP (Ret) and EVP/GM LtGen Christie B Datu AFP (Ret). Additional tokens were given to cum laude scholars.

Consequently, the new scholars for the SY 2009-2010 was presented to the Management. A total of 20 new scholars complete the pool of 100 scholars for baccalaureate courses. Two (2) new scholars under the vocational/technical course was also presented.
